Before submitting your cake request, please read in full the Cakery's terms. The deposit reserves your cake day and is NOT REFUNDABLE. The deposit is applied to the remaining balance owed. All modifications to your cake order must be emailed to the Cakery and must be sent 7 days before cake day. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 1 week before cake day, unless otherwise stated. Due to the ingredients in buttercream icing (butter, dairy products), environments with high humidity/heat will modify the cake beyond repair. We are not responsible for this issue. Delivery will be within 1 hour of the event's start time. It can be earlier if the delivery location has refrigeration. If the cake is not picked up on the day you selected, no refund will be given (unless you have received communication that states otherwise ON CAKE DAY). Once a cake has been picked up, we are not responsible for any damage once it has left our custody. You are responsible for the refrigeration and leveling (cake on a flat surface) upon transport (SUV recommended). All wedding cakes require delivery. Carman's Cakery has a right to reject a request when conditions are not optimal for the cake. Wedding cakes require a 30-day notice of cancellation. A refund of the remaining cake balance will be given (if paid) minus the deposit. All other cake requests require a 3-day cancellation notice. These terms will serve as a verbal contract between you and Carman's Cakery. If you have any questions regarding storage of the cake, please notify us.
